Demi Lovato In Rehab

I know I'm all late but 18 year old Disney star Demi Lovato is in rehab (damn!).  Miss Lovato was on tour with the Jonas brothers when she dropped out early to enter into a treatment facility for "emotional and physical issues she has dealt with for some time."

Demi Lovato publicist has denied claims that she is in reb for substance abuse. Saying "(Demi) is not in treatment for drug and alcohol addiction... As we have said since she entered treatment last week, Demi decided to seek help for emotional and physical issues she has battled througout her life. She has taken this step in order to get her life in order."

Demi Lovato currently stars on the Disney channel show "Sonny With A Chance". During her absence the Disney channel has decided to reconstruct the show and focus on a show within a show set to be called "So Random!" This will allow the show to start filming again in January 2011, if Demi Lovato has not yet returned from rehab. A spokesperson for Disney had this to say "This allows her the time she needs to get well, without distraction or pressure, again we extend our ongoing support to Demi and her family as she works to overcome personal issues."

Damn, I never would have expected her to enter rehab. But, I'm happy she was mature enough to make the decision to get the help she needs early on in life before it causes her more pain. We wish her the best.
