Farwell Mr. Leslie Nielsen...

The Naked Gun star passed away in Fort Lauderdale, Florida Sunday November 28, just 12 days after he was admitted to the hospital for pneumonia. Surely enough this devastating news has definitely shocked Hollywood. Several celebrities took to their twitter to honor the late actor and his comedy legacy with citings from his hit 1980 movie Airplane, "I am serious, and don't call me Shirley"

Russell Brand took to his twitter by saying "RIP. Leslie Nielsen. Shirley, he will be missed". Comic David Wain adds, "Can't count how many times I rewound the VHS to hear Leslie Nielsen say 'Nice Beaver!' (in The Naked Gun). I will miss him."

Neilsen has played in over 100 movies and made well over 15,000 television appearances according to MTV NEWS.

We know that his legacy will surely be carried on throughout Hollywood. YMD would like to send our condolences to the Nielsen family and we pray that you guys make it through this terrible lost. R.I.P Mr. Leslie 'Shirley' Neilsen!
