Featured Artist - Jawan Harris

Jawan Harris is the 13 year old Chicago native that is currently signed to Bystorm/Jive Records. Jawan started singing at the young age of 3 according to his facebook, like many of our favorite artist Jawan started out singing in church and is influenced by gospel singler J. Moss and Karen Clark-Sheard. Harris really started to gain success through a series of Youtube videos until he finally caught the attention of Mike Pitts of ByStorm Records who signed Jawan a few days before his 12th birthday.

Some of you may remember Jawan from his collaboration with fellow Jive artist Chris Brown on the song "Another Planet".  I haven't heard anything about a release date for Jawan's debut album but that hasn't stopped Jawan from doing shows and releasing music to satisfy his growing fan base.

Jawan recently released a new video for the single "Keisha" which features Young Money own Tyga. I definitely think that Jawan is one to watch for.
