Frank Ocean's Album Finally Gets Release Date

 

Frank Ocean should thank all his "Novacane"  fans, because Def Jam has finally wised up, and decided to release his debut "Nostalgia, Ultra" on July 26th. Of course "Novacane" will be the official first single, and will be available for downloads on iTunes May 31st.

"Nostalgia, Ultra" was originally released via Frank Ocean's tumblr in March, and has recently gotten some recognition, and radio play. 

This is very reminiscent of Drake's "So Far Gone" mixtape which was released for free first, and then released for sale before the debut of his first album "Thank Me Later".

I'm anxious to see the visuals for his album, and whether Def Jam/Ocean will record some new tracks for the album to gain additional hype. "Nostalgia, Ultra" can be downloaded now for free at Dat Piff or Frank Oceans tumblr. A few personal faves of mine are "American Wedding", "We All Try", and "Dust".
