Ne-Yo Has A Baby...

Shaffer Chimere Smith otherwise known as R&B singer Ne-Yo and his girlfriend Monyetta Shaw welcomed a baby girl into their lives last night.

The happy couple named their newborn daughter Madilyn Grace Smith. Ne-Yo had this to say about his babygirl.

"I've been in love before but this feels like nothing I've ever felt, like I'm in love for the first time."

Mr. Smith attending a charity event when Monyetta went into labor but he was able to make it to the hospital to witness the birth.

Now some of you may be wondering about the "son" that Ne-Yo had when he first came came out. That was not Ne-Yo's biological child. In 2008 Ne-Yo and the child's mother were locked in a bitter custody battle after Ne-Yo found out that Chimere was actually fathered by another man. Ne-Yo said this about the baby to USATODAY.

On the bright side Ne-Yo's album "Libra Scale" will be in stores November 22nd.
